Very complex and changes every 10 mins or so. starts spicy and earthy; then creamy, leathery, and woody; then a dark sweet char taste. It has my preferred draw, which is slightly resistant but airy. Construction is excellent even using my fingernail as a cutter. Can be left unattended for minutes on end. Perfect burn speed. I see why it won cigar of the year. One of the best experiences after 5 years of smoking. Only negative is a confusing flavor during transitions, and a flaky ash,
